Rex n Roll

Well I remember when I sat there in my room

and I was listening to some crazy kinda tune.

It was so beautiful, like from another time,

I was taken by the music, yeah I couldn´t get it off my mind.

As I sat there right in front of the machine

I couldn´t stop myself from playing to the beat.

I felt my fingers moving just like by themselves

to the music of the piper, yeah I couldn´t really help myself.

The sound of the past and the future,

it made me go out of my mind.

The battle of minor and major,

all of the time and I can never leave it behind.

And in the twilight I was taken by the tones,

I couldn´t stop myself from playing Rex n Roll.

It was so long ago, we gotta take it back,

´cause the music is like magic when you feel that you are right on track.

The sound of the past and the future,

it made me go out of my mind.

The battle of minor and major,

all of the time and I can never leave it behind.

The wind and the rain and the snowstorm,

the fire inside of my soul,

the stars in the sky and the rainbow -

Out of control by the music they call Rex n Roll.
